These terms apply when you use the SortedCrew app, web app and website (the “Service”), provided by SortedCrew (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm you're allowed to agree for that business.
1. The Service
SortedCrew helps cleaning businesses schedule jobs, record clock-ins, take before and after photos, complete checklists and inspections, and create invoices. We'll keep improving it, which means features may change. We'll give reasonable notice before removing anything important.
2. Accounts and your team
- You must give accurate details and keep your login secure.
- The account owner is responsible for who they invite, the roles they give, and what their team does in the Service.
- Every plan includes unlimited users. Each person should have their own login.
3. Your responsibilities
When you use SortedCrew, you agree to:
- tell your staff that location is checked at clock-in and clock-out, and get any consent the law requires;
- tell your clients that photos are taken inside their property as part of the service;
- photograph rooms and surfaces only, and avoid capturing people or personal items where you can;
- check that invoices, GST amounts and business details are correct before relying on them;
- follow the law, including privacy, workplace and consumer laws, when using the Service.
You must not misuse the Service, try to access other businesses' data, or interfere with how it runs.
4. Photo evidence
SortedCrew records timestamped photo evidence of the work done. It is a record to support you; it does not guarantee any result in a dispute with a client, landlord, agent or tribunal, including the return of a bond. How that evidence is used and weighed is up to the people and bodies involved.
5. Plans, billing and the founding offer
- Plans are priced in Australian dollars and charged monthly in advance. Current prices are on our pricing page.
- Plans are based on units cleaned per month. If you go over your plan's limit, we'll ask you to move to a larger plan.
- We'll give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
- The founding-customer offer gives the first 10 businesses on a paid plan 50% off for as long as their subscription stays active. It ends if the subscription is cancelled, and it can't be transferred.
- You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs until the end of the period you've paid for.
6. Your data
You own the information and photos you put into SortedCrew. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the Service to you. You can export or delete your data, and we handle it as described in our privacy policy.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep SortedCrew running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the Service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
9. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost clients, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or isn't paid, after giving notice where reasonable.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
